With the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage, you can apply a support or pressure bandage for sprains, strains, and injuries to muscles and joints. It can also be used to apply extra pressure to deep wounds when a cover bandage is not sufficient.
A support or pressure bandage provides stability and firmness to your injury or exerts pressure in the case of a heavily bleeding wound.
The composition and weave of the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage make it highly elastic, making it suitable for moving body parts such as the knee and elbow.
The bandage fits well, stays in place, does not loosen, and promotes good blood circulation.
It can also be applied preventively during sports or used as comfortable support when suffering from conditions such as varicose veins.
For applying a light support or pressure bandage for bruises, strains, or sprains, you can also use the HeltiQ Cohesive Bandage.
For applying a pressure bandage to a severe bleeding wound, use the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage to apply extra pressure after placing a HeltiQ Rolled Dressing.

| Directions for use | Tip! When bandaging, work as much as possible from narrow to broader body parts, for example from the ankle toward the calf. Applying a support or pressure bandage for a bruise, strain, or sprain Wrap the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage as much as possible in an “overlapping” way around the affected area, ensuring the turns overlap slightly. Pull it slightly tight, but not too tight. Apply the final turn around. Secure the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster. Applying a pressure bandage to a heavily bleeding wound Cover the bleeding wound with a HeltiQ Rolled Dressing. Wrap the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage as much as possible in an “overlapping” way over the dressing, ensuring each layer overlaps slightly. Pull slightly tight, but not too tight. Secure the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster. Note! Do not apply the HeltiQ Cotton Crepe Bandage too tightly, as it may constrict. A bandage that is too tight can be recognized by: – Discoloration of the extremities, – Increased pain, – Tingling or numbness, – Reduced ability to move the extremities. |
