| Directions for use | Method of Administration Swallow the tablet with sufficient water. Alternatively, the tablet may be dispersed in a large amount of water, stirred well, and then consumed. For young children, other formulations of paracetamol (such as oral liquids) may be more suitable because of the bitter taste when the tablet is dissolved in water. Paracetamol Linn 500 mg is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. There must be at least 4 hours between doses, even if symptoms return sooner. Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve your symptoms. Contains paracetamol. Taking too much paracetamol may cause serious liver damage. Do not use this medicine if you are also taking other medicines containing paracetamol, whether prescribed or not, for the treatment of pain, fever, or cold and flu symptoms. Do not exceed the stated dose. If pain and/or fever return, treatment may be repeated according to the recommended dosing schedule. If pain persists for more than 5 days, fever persists for more than 3 days, symptoms worsen, or new symptoms occur, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. If you feel that Paracetamol Linn 500 mg is too strong or not effective enough, consult your doctor or pharmacist. |

| Composition | The active substance is paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol. The other ingredients are povidone K-30 (E 1201), pregelatinized maize starch, sodium starch glycolate, and stearic acid (E 570). |
| Important information | When should you not use this medicine? Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Warnings and Precautions Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have: acute liver inflammation (acute hepatitis) moderate to severe kidney impairment mild to severe liver impairment or Gilbert’s syndrome glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency haemolytic anaemia dehydration chronic malnutrition alcohol abuse asthma and sensitivity to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) are taking medicines that affect liver function Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you develop a high fever, signs of a new infection, or if symptoms persist. If you have an infection that becomes severe and you experience deep, rapid or difficult breathing, nausea or vomiting after taking paracetamol, seek medical attention immediately. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Treatment should be kept as short as possible and at the lowest effective dose. If any of the above apply to you now or have applied in the past, consult your doctor. You may need to avoid this medicine or limit the amount of paracetamol you use. |
