HeltiQ Burn Plaster
HeltiQ Burn Plaster is a transparent polyurethane hydrogel plaster containing 60% water. The hydrogel in the wound pad provides instant cooling and pain relief while keeping the wound environment moist, supporting the healing process. It also absorbs wound exudate. The plaster protects the wound from external influences such as bacteria, dirt, and infection, while its breathable properties allow proper ventilation.
For first- and second-degree burns, it is recommended to cool the burn with gently running lukewarm water for about 10 minutes before applying the HeltiQ Burn Plaster.
If you wish to cool larger skin areas using hydrogel, use HeltiQ Burn Gel or HeltiQ Burn Dressing.
HeltiQ Burn Plaster is waterproof, non-adherent to the wound, and reduces the risk of scarring. Suitable for both adults and children.

| Directions for use | Directions for use: Remove the large flap of the protective film. Apply the burn plaster to the affected area. Remove the small flap of the protective film if applicable. Smooth down the edges on the surrounding skin. Remove the outer support layer. Leave the plaster in place until it comes off by itself. Do not use HeltiQ Burn Plaster: – On infected wounds or third-degree burns; – On wounds with heavy exudate (leaking fluid); – In patients with known sensitivity to propylene glycol. Caution! In case of redness or allergic reaction, seek medical advice. |
| Important information | Store in a dry place at room temperature. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Use the plaster immediately after opening the foil package. Once opened, unused plasters cannot be stored. Plasters are for single use only. |
